✨️Under 14 Girls Camogie✨️

On the final weekend of the summer holidays, the girls got their Division 1 Camogie championship off to a winning start! 

Welcomed to Ridgewood were the girls from Mobhi Road, who provided a great challenge. 

Wearing their new jersey’s, Finians made a quick start with a couple of early goals. Na Fianna stayed in touch with some accurate free taking though. Halftime came with Finians holding a slender lead. 

The second half saw Finians extend their lead with some superb scores. The teamwork on show was outstanding. Na Fianna continued to press but they found Finians keeper in no mood to concede. 

Finians successfully closed the game off to get the win. With the second team not having a match (Bye), there was Great support in Ridgewood. 

Football championship starts next weekend, with both teams having away fixtures. But first, the girls must negotiate the return to school. 🫣
