💥Adult Camogie 💥

It wasn't to be today for the Adult Camogie team in a very wet Championship Semi-final in St Anne's. The final score was 4-12 to 3-9 (a 6 point difference) but the game was far closer than the scoreline suggests. Having gone behind early on, and several scores from frees, the game looked up. But Finian's dug in and dominated the last 15 minutes. They just couldn't get the goals they needed with St Anne's throwing bodies in the way to hold on.

We can all be proud of their performance, not just today but throughout the year. After scorching through the Junior 3 league, the team made the decision to move up a championship grade this year to see how far they could go. We know now that this team can compete really well at Jun2 and with a little more experience, will be pushing hard for titles. Led by their captain Jules McDonald and Vice-captain Jen Byrne, this team has shown incredible progress this year. The future is bright.
