U14 Boys played the last round of their league campaign on Saturday on the all weather. With the rain wreaking havoc on fixtures, it was great to be able to complete the match against Kilmacud Crokes.
The opening quarter was a cagey affair, both defences were on top and the game was very tight. Crokes looked strong and the home side knew they had a job to do. 💪💪
As the game progressed the boys settled in, and the hurling was top drawer. The tackling and work rate was phenomenal, coupled with some excellent scores.
A third quarter rally saw Finians put some daylight between the teams, credit to Crokes they pushed right until the end, but the Finians boys kicked on and finished the match with a flourish. 👏👏
The reward for their efforts was topping their league group ahead of championship. Looking forward to challenges ahead, 💪
