U8 Boys hosted O’Dwyers for their Hurling match this morning in Ridgewood. It was tough going to get the sliotar moving in the long wet grass for the ground hurling part of the matches but the boys persevered 💪

It meant the first half of the 3 games were somewhat slower and tight. However, there was a swift change of momentum in the second half for the air hurling when the sliotar was flying through the air. Some super blocks and defending, hooks, shoulder to shoulder tackles and strikes made for some fine battles between these teams on the pitches. 👏👏

The coaches and parents are so proud of the improvement the boys have made in their hurling. Keep up the good work and practice boys 💪👏

A big thank you to the parents for their help with the set up/ take down of goals this morning. Much appreciated. And thank you to the parents for your sideline support.
