U16 LGFA Championship- 3 wins from 3 🥳

U16s lgfa travelled to St Marks to play the final group game in their championship journey. After 2 win’s confidence was high but with players missing through a TY trip to Belgium and injuries numbers were low. A big thank you to the u15s and u14s who supported us and if it wasn’t for them we would have to concede the game.

First half started well and st finians took some lovely scores and kept it tight at the back to go into the break up by a goal. Second half and they upped the intensity and kicked on with some lovey goals and point taking and took a 7 point lead. I’m fairness to St Marks they came back strong and put the away team under pressure and brought it back to a 1 point game but St finians held on for a great away win.

This means 3 wins from 3 and a championship home semi final vs Stars of Erin.

Final score St Marks 1-9 St Finians 2-7
