U8 Boys hosted St.Margarets in Ridgewood for their last offical GoGames Football match as U8s. David asked the 3 teams to focus on passing the ball instead of kicking long shots. And it's a much nicer game when the players are passing the ball around the team. David also asked the 3 teams to really focus on the blocking they practiced in training. And oh, there was some brave 2 handed blocks. Well done boysπŸ‘They listen to what the coaches ask. While it may be the last of the official GoGames for Football hopefully there will be some friendlies to keep the momentum going 🀞The boys love the matches πŸ’ͺ

A special shout-out to Adam, who is out injured with a broken finger he broke in training during the week. He still came up to the match this morning and helped David with the arranging of the teams πŸ‘ Good to see you Adam and hopefully you are back with us soon. And a welcome back to Finn who returned this morning after recovering from a broken foot..back like he never took a break πŸ‘πŸ‘Š

Thank you to the parents for your help with the set up and take down of goals. Very much appreciated πŸ™ GoGames Hurling next Saturday but we will see you Tuesday for Football training in Rivervalley. Have a lovely weekend all.
