🏑Junior B Hurling Championship Semi-Final

Another belter of a match involving the adult hurlers following up on the quarter final match two weeks ago.

The opposition was Ballyboden Saint Enda's on their home ground in Pairc Ui Murchu in the junior championship semi final. It was an away match for St Finians but didn't really feel like that with strong St Finians support travelling to support the team. Like the quarter final against Castleknock two weeks ago, extra time was again required in a very exciting encounter that was full of drama & good hurling.

Unfortunately on this occasion, St Finians came out the wrong side of the result losing by a point on a 0-20 to 1-16 scoreline at end of a tremondous and sporting championship encounter where players from both sides really gave it all.

Best of luck to Ballyboden who advance to the final. Disappointment for St Finians today but plenty to look forward to in 2024 based on the quality of the hurling in recent matches.

Best of luck to Jack Murray who moves to reside in the USA 🇺🇸 shortly. Enjoy & we will see you in Finians colours again please God
