St Finians U16s welcomed Star of Erin to River Valley today for a LGFA Championship semi final. The home team had 3 wins from 3 in the group section so had the home advantage. The visitors started better and took a 3 point lead but St Finians struck back with a goal to make it all square. The Swords team then got to grips with the game and went into the break up by 5. 💪💪

Again Star of Erin started well in the second half and pulled it back to a 3 point lead. But the home side answered their comeback with 2 points and took a 5 point lead. With 5 to go the visitors scored a goal from a free kick but St Finians kept calm and held out for a 2 point lead. 👏👏

A Championship Final now awaits St Finians vs Beann Eadair. Huge thanks again to the u15s and u14s players for supporting the team and to the fantastic support from our parents and club members on the sideline who came out to watch the game.
