Thomas Ashe welcomed Raheny on Sunday afternoon to Rivervalley in the all weather pitch, to play the League Semi Final. Great asset to have as the rain claimed a lot of matches this weekend.
The lads started brightly making plenty of chances, resulting in a goal and a couple of points in quick succession. Raheny held their own and caused us plenty of problems overloading midfield and scoring a brace of points of their own. The game ebbed and flowed and Thomas Ashe went in to half time with a narrow lead. 💪💪
In the second half the lads up their game and took control of the game, keeping Raheny at arms length and the scoreboard ticking over. Commiserations to Raheny, its tough losing a semi final.
Well done to the lads, the hard work and dedication is paying off. Looking forward to the final in a couple of weeks 👏👏💪
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the lads today👏👏
