The sun finally decided to play ball on Saturday afternoon as St Finians U16s boys welcomed Thomas Davis to a sun drenched Nevinstown.
Thomas Davis got off to a quick start scoring 2 points early on but once the lads settled into game they began to take control with some ferocious tackling and outstanding hurling, resulting in some great points and a well worked goal. Thomas Davis finished the first half strongly and the game was finely balanced at half time.
The second half was a tense affair with both teams giving everything they had, however Finians kept the scoreboard ticking over with a couple of goals and well taken points. Thanks to Thomas Davis for an enjoyable game.
The lads are improving with every game they play and it's great to see their development and enjoyment of game growing also. 👏👏👏
