With many league fixtures postponed over the last few weeks the U14 Camogie team were finally able to get back out on the grass pitches this evening as they welcomed Naomh Fionnbarra in what turned out to be a fantastic clash of the ash. Both teams battled on every inch of a tough pitch and fought for every score. Finians went into half time trailing by a single point. πͺπͺ
The 2nd half mirrored the 1st for intensity but the girls were raring to go and continued their strong defence and brilliant attacks scoring 1-3 in the second half to finish out with a win of 1-6 to 1-3. ππ
Well done to all the girls this evening and best of luck to Naomh Fionnbarra for the rest of the league.
