On Tuesday of this week we lost a legend around Rivervalley and St. Finians GAA - Peggy Moylan passed away.
Peggy was known to almost everyone whoever attended a Finians match, watching from the sidelines and sometimes sitting in her car but always with pen and paper in hand keeping the scores and scolding poor refereeing decisions.
Peggy is mother of Deirdre Keely and Edel Dunne, Grandmother of Emma, Shane Michael and Paul Keely, Patrick Ellen, Hannah and Maya Dunne, all who have played football and camogie for Finians and some continue to do so.
Peggy will be sorely missed and hopefully Mick will still get to come and cheer on his grandchildren.
