🌟Mens hurlers through to the Semi Final 🌟

This quarter final clash against Whitehall Colmcilles in Ridgewood was played in blustery conditions with a strong cross field wind making delivery of ball and shooting challenging. St. Finians started strongly with opening points from Senan Crosbie, Nathan Foster and Adam O'Shaughnessy putting St. Finians into a 3 point lead before Whitehall opened their account with a point. Adam O'Shaughnessy, struck for a goal to give St. Finians a great boost and shortly afterwards Adam McGuirk judged the wind to perfection to send over a long range point from out near the sideline. St. Finians led 1-8 to 0-4 at half time. The 2nd half was well contested with Senan Crosbie getting a goal for St. Finians and Whitehall found the net twice at the other end. The St Finians defence was under pressure in the closing stages as Whitehall came looking for scores, however the backs held firm and at the other end substitute James Elder was making an impact with James striking an excellent individual point to conclude the scoring.
