The U15 LGFA A team welcomed our friends from Fingal Ravens to a windy Ridgewood Park on Saturday afternoon for the championship semi-final. It was an action packed game from start to finish with great football from both sides. 

Playing with the wind in the first half we were building a decent lead only to be pegged back by 2 first half goals. Leading by only 4 at half time and facing 30 minutes into the wind we knew it was going to be tough second half, which it 100% was. But the girls set about the task and managed to build a 10 point lead with 10 minutes to go, with some great team play and well taken scores, Ravens needed goals and got 2 of them to peg us back. Near the end we scored a beautiful goal which was disallowed and were only leading by 2 with 5 minutes to play, there was no score in the last five minutes which is a testament to the whole squad and the determination they showed, after 3 minutes of injury time the girls held out for the win.
