Good evening all,

We had intended on celebrating the achievements of our players on December 3rd in the form of the players awards night. Regrettably due to the escalating Covid numbers and based on public health advise we have decided that it would be unsafe to  hold the awards as planned. As an executive we are responsible for the safety of all members and players. We intend to host the event in the new year once case numbers and public health advice allow. We will of course keep you all posted.

We will however hold a medals presentation to the lady’s shield winners and the 2nd football team in recognition of their fantastic achievements in 2020. This will be a low-key affair and details to both team managers will follow later this week. It’s imperative that we recognise these 2 teams and again we will ensure everyone’s safety in this regard. The event in the new year will recognise 2021 achievements.

We didn’t take this decision lightly and again we are putting the safety of all at the forefront of this decision. I would like to thank Martin, Aoife and Dermot for all of the ideas and hard work that has gone into arranging the event. We will see this come together in 2022.
