Both U12 camogie teams began their Go Games fixtures with a tough home assignment v Erin Go Bragh in a windy Ridgewood on Saturday afternoon.
Despite missing some of their regular players with the weekend that was in it, 20 girls across both teams put in very competitive performances with excellent striking and tough tackling.
The hard work done by recently appointed camogie coach Jules McDonald from the Adult Camogie Team is having a positive impact across the group.
For some of the recently recruited girls it was their 1st Go Games camogie match and they were a credit to their team with the commitment shown.
Both teams look forward to a full complement of players being available for the next camogie fixture”
