On a cold but sunny April Saturday morning, one half of our U8 boys set out on the road to Garristown for their football match.
Fantastic teamwork was on display throughout. Rotation of positions gave the boys a chance to show off their ability to adapt and play well together, while having the most important thing, fun!
The coaches are very proud of all the boys' development and hard work over the last few weeks!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the other half of the squad were in Rivervalley for a training session, reported on by our wonderful and dedicated Deirdre Walsh.......
"Our match was cancelled, We hit a glitch The academy contributed a corner of their pitch Our training began in the warm April sun. Our priceless coaches making it so much fun. First up for a warm up an old school sack race Nail biting from the start to the end of the chase
Round 2 began with an egg and a spoon It ended with a scramble and all too soon. The boys were so fast. And showed great balancing skills Thanks to Shanes hard boiling, or there would have been spills
A match full of smiles helped us finish the day, With a positive attitude seen all the way.
A shout out to Mark's great energy, a testament. With thanks to you all, We hope your Easter is egg-cellent🐣
A wonderful Saturday morning had by all!
