The U13 girls fielded 38 players this weekend in an exciting series of football matches. The division 1 team journeyed across the M50 on Saturday to take on Foxrock Cabinteely and were rewarded as they secured a win against the home team at Kilbogget Park. Some incredible performances ensured the girls a comfortable victory against their strong opponents.

The division 8 girls hosted St James Gaels today at Ridgewood and were spurred on by many spectators including their very supportive Div 1 team mates. The first score for the Finian’s girls came just 4 minutes after throw in and set the scene for a highly competitive game. The visitors battled hard and challenged us but exceptional displays of athleticism and skill from the home team paid off with a win.

We are looking forward to continuing with some challenging and competitive games in the league in the coming weeks.
