The U14 boys travelled to Ballinteer St John's on Saturday afternoon. It was a slow start for both teams on the scoring front before Ballinteer broke the deadlock with 2 goals and a point in quick succession. In fairness to our lads they kept to the task and were level at half time. In the second the lads grew in confidence and displayed some great hurling skills, catching, hand passing and short strike passing. It was a close game in the end with a late Finian's goal proving the difference between the teams. Thanks to Ian and Mark for providing a couple of players who made a great contribution to the team.
