Our U13 girls played out an epic battle against a strong St Vincent's team...shorn of some players due to a communion, injury, an overseas wedding and ballet grading we took to the pitch with bare minimum 13....Vinnys started the better and won the first half leading by 8 points at half time....ten minutes into the second half we got on top and took control and won the second half by 5 points....some all-star class performances and we march on in D1 to our next challenge! 💪💪

Meanwhile, the Finian’s girls continued their winning streak as they faced off against Erin’s Isle in their latest Division 6 camogie fixture at Isles home ground in Finglas. Both teams were hungry for scores and fought tirelessly to try and get the sliothar into the net whilst playing an extremely high energy and defensive game. A slow start produced some frustration but the girls efforts were rewarded before the end of the first half as they got the ball over the bar and then past the keeper into the net.

The second half produced a much more intense battle as the Finian’s girls showed their determination to come out on top against a strong Erin’s Isle selection. Most of the action was in front of the Isles goals and despite some collisions and a few injuries, the goals kept coming for Finian’s who had a very well deserved and comfortable win against the hosts. Sophia Egan was the trophy recipient for today and really showcased her athleticism and precision today. Congratulations to the girls on all their hard work 👏👏
