U8 Boys Football

Two groups of our U8 Footballers had games this morning, against Peregrines and Innisfails.

The first group made their way to Balgriffin to play Innisfails early this morning. Each Finian's player showed great teamwork and fought well when they were under pressure.

All the hard training over the last few months was shown as Finian's made a lot of scores.

They fought hard to the very end and gave the spectators a show that they won't forget as they made some fantastic saves and kicks, showing off all their skills to our hosts.

The boys were very supportive to each other with high fives and cheers all round. It is great to see them gelling as a group and to see very happy faces at the end!

A tricky away fixture to Peregrines faced the other half of the Under 8 group.

The boys brought all the skills that they have worked on at training over the last few weeks and the crowd in Blakestown were treated to an exhibition of kicks, catches, passes and blocks. The cherry on top were some excellent scores and outstanding teamwork.

As always all the boys were a credit to themselves and the club.
