Following 2 hurling matches in a row our U14 boys made a return to football, hosting Trinity Gaels in St Margaret's on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams started brightly but with a combination of slick passing and strong running with the ball the lads built a healthy first half lead.
Defensively we were strong and well organised and gave nothing easy to the opposition.
Going forward we were very clinical in front of goal and kept the opposition under constant pressure throughout the game.
The lads have put in a huge effort since the beginning of the year and all that hard work is beginning to pay off. We will look to keep the momentum going for the final 2 games of the season before we take a well deserved break.
Another great team performance 👏 👏👏
