Fresh from their excellent showing against Skerries the previous Sunday, the switch to the most skilful code of camogie and the great opposition of Trinity Gaels proved no impediment to the indomitable group that is the under 8 girls team. 💪💪

Glorious sunshine was the perfect accompaniment to their skills which were a treat to all in attendance. Whilst the first aid kit was used on multiple occasions the girls showed great courage and fortitude in their games. 👏👏👏

Whether playing in the maroon of Finians or supplementing the Trinity numbers they fought hard but fairly for every ball.

Girls playing for 4 years or 4 days all showed tremendous skill - shooting, blocking, saving, scoring, running plus the occasional handstand were all on show. 😂

All the mentors were delighted with how the girls brought the skills from the training ground to the matches. Well done all. 👏👏
