******Adult Football Go Ahead Junior 1 ******

********* Championship Semi-Final *********

The adult footballers travelled to the Naul this morning to face off against O'Dwyers, a championship final spot up for grabs. The lads went into the semi final in great form, looking to make sure they booked a place in the decider.

A low scoring first half finished 0-3 apiece, Brandon Caffrey the stand out performance of the half. 👏👏

A very different game was to unfold in the second half, the lads stepped up with a superb effort, Conor Cooley making some great runs and winning primary possession, Conor Halpin came to the fore with a second half tally of 1-3, and Jack Dempsey was outstanding in defence. 💪💪💪

Final score St Finians 1-12, O'Dwyers 1-07.

A fantastic result and the club now has a championship final to look forward to against Garristown. 🏆🏆

In addition the lads will now play intermediate championship next year, a massive development for the team. 💪💪🏐🏐

This is a hugely exciting period for the club, let's all get behind the lads in the build up to the final.
