The Finian's U10 girls travelled to Portmarnock on Saturday to play Naomh Mearnog in football and for once we were outnumbered.

The opposition had well over 30 players so we ended up with fewer on our team in order for all to be able to play. This seemed to make our girls even more determined to compete to the very best of their ability. It was the biggest pitch we had played on and it suited us as our positional play was outstanding along with our kicking game to get down the pitch. 🏐🏐

One huge difference we saw as coaches from even our last match was the girls were looking for passes as opposed to just their biggest kicks and this resulted in some amazing moves and scores. 💪💪👏👏

Seeing all of this come together in their last football game of the year was brilliant to see. The coaches and parents were proud of them all and they should be very proud of themselves #gofinians
