U8 Boys Hurling

Three teams of our boys proudly flew the flag for our team and their club on Saturday morning for our last hurling match of the season.

The venue was the leafy suburb of Malahide to face the aptly named St Sylvester’s. A sunny morning greeted both clubs as our boys took to the pitch to do battle.

The boys battled hard through 3 games and put their skills on show that they have been working hard on in training with both teams contesting the ball from defense through midfield into the forward line.

Superb performances from St Finians boys and thanks to Sylvesters coaches for the treats and sweets afterwards allowing the boys to refuel their bodies after a great display of hurling.

The heavens had opened the day and night before which most would have thought would have led to the cancellation of this affair but it only led to being a beautiful sunny morning … somewhat heavenly like… a tale of 2 Saints!!

Well done to everyone and to our whole panel of boys who have been brilliant all season. 👏👏👏👏
