U8's Boys Hurling Away v Whitehall.

The sun was shining in Cloughran this morning. After all the recent match cancellations, the U8 boys exploded onto the pitch this morning in Cloughran eager to get going. They had a hunger to show off their skills...and boy oh boy did they! We couldn't believe the difference in our boys since we last played Whitehall only a few weeks ago. Great to see the pick-ups and striking/ blocking/ air hurling and high blocks with the hurls...skills we have been practising in training. As David explained to the boys, at this age the referees give skill points during the match so the skills during play are just as important as scoring goals and points. So keep up the practising and good work.
