✨️U14 Boys- Hurling ✨️

A full squad travelled to Ballyboden this evening for the latest round of the U14 Hurling league. With the longer evenings and drier weather everyone was looking forward to the game.

Right from the off, both teams showed great intent, a huge physical battle ensued, with some quality hurling being played.

In a nip and tuck first half, St. Finian's were more accurate and went into the break with a slender lead.

The second half saw Ballyboden rally, and they managed to get a few scores, however the boys stuck to the task, and hooked, blocked and hurled their way back into the game.

Boden managed to get their noses in front but the St. Finian's boys dug deep, got level and we're pushing hard for the win when the long whistle signalled an end to proceedings. Spoils shared, a brilliant game by the boys.
