Another scintillating performance from the Adult Camogie team at a well supported Rivervalley last night. Hosting an unbeaten Setanta who were scoring goals for fun, this could have been a real banana skin for our ladies. Finians got stuck in from the off, taking the game straight to Setanta and popping over 2 points in quick succession. Finians were playing with a real dogged passion and Setanta were struggling to get to the pace of the game. Finians kept the pace relentless with tackles flying and scores coming quick and fast from all over the field. Finians rounded the turn 4-10 to 0-2.

Finian's never took their foot off the gas and the second half brought more brilliant and dogged Camogie. Setanta started to assert themselves a bit more but this was the ultimate team performance from Finians. Fantastic camogie, real teamwork, chasing in packs, scoring high quality scores.

Finians ran out 7-14 to 1-6 winners and now leap to the top of the league. 2 more games to go for this team who now have everything to play for
