The U15s travelled to Ballyboden on Thursday evening to play their first hurrling league match of the season following the Feile. The lads started brightly and rattled off some early points which helped to settle any nerves. Ballyboden battled hard and earned themselves a couple of points before we scored our first goal. 

Having won battle the lads started to exert themselves all over the pitch. Accurate puck outs laid the basis for our attackers to keep the score board ticking over. Defensively we were strong and limited the opposition to very little opportunities, strong running and tackling in midfield stiffled Ballyboden ambitions.
