In the last football weekend of the go games season our boys played two away games at Whitehall Colmcilles and Round Towers Lusk.

The rain found its way to the Whitehall pitches on a damp Saturday morning. This didn’t dampen the St Finians boy's spirits and they were on their game right from the start. Teamwork was the order of the day for St Finians with some brilliant moves from back to front and some brilliant individual performances. As usual the attitude of the boys was exceptional and with the rain falling some heavy hits went in. The boys done themselves proud against a strong Whitehall team who felt the heat of the battle.

Meanwhile out in Lusk on a rain sodden Chapel Farm pitch the boys gave one final push to showcase all their fine football skills they have developed over the season.

With difficult handling conditions the boys patiently stuck to their task and worked some outstanding team scores .

Thank you to all the parents who supported the boys at both venues, and we now look forward to our last hurling go games next weekend.
