On Saturday a depleted U11 girls squad travelled to Balbriggan to play O'Dwyers in Camogie. A combination of holidays and injuries meant that only 16 travelled but the 'Super 16' did not let us down in terms of performance. 💪💪
The girls played 2 matches each and battled bravely in what were low scoring, tough games. The ground hurling and tackling was immense. The girls also showed a real desire to lift, run with and strike the ball where possible so we will be practicing that part of the game this evening in training and encouraging them all to practice by themselves (and with parents) when the Summer break starts next week.
The coaches were proud of the display as the effort the girls put in was amazing to see. 👏👏
