Our U11 girls were due to play a football match v Naomh Mearnog on Saturday but unfortunately they could not field a team so we had to arrange a game against the best team we ever faced...ourselves 😂😂

We set up a big pitch so they had plenty of space and had a fantastic 11 v 11, fifty minute, game in extremely hot conditions. We had plenty of fans watching who were certainly entertained as the girls displayed some amazing skills, plenty of tough tackling and loads of quality scores. 💪💪

I had thought it was the one game I could be 100% Finians would win but they didnt, as it was a high scoring draw. 👏👏

The girls now have a well deserved few weeks off but we hope they keep the practice up so we can go again for the second half of the season in August. Well done girls on a brilliant first half of the season. 🌞🌞
