Thank you to everyone who came down and supported the Adult Camogie team last night as we hosted the Intermediate Camogie 7s competion in Ridgewood. Playing Intermediate and Senior teams is a big step up and while we are not winning, we are competitive and definitely learning loads. This is all part of our preparation for Championship and the team acquitted themselves really well once again. Most importantly, everyone was still smiling at the end!
Special mentions to the U16s who played with us and looked like they have been part of the team for years - Freya Cahill, Eimear Crosbie and Ellie Kiernan. Each of them are such brilliant Camogie players and gel so well with the team. We may not let you have them back, Keith!
And of course a big thank you to the referees Keith Cahill and Ernie Brennan!
The teams observed a minute silence as a mark of respect to our team-mate Roisin Drumm Pearse on the awful news of her mother, Deirdre, passing this past week. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
